Team Driven consists of 7 skilled and caring employees with a combined experience in the automotive industry exceeding 200 years. Because there are so many different makes and models of vehicles, old and new, many owners want an experienced technician to be able to quickly diagnose any issues and complete all necessary repairs properly and efficiently so that their vehicle is again safe to drive and well maintained.
Tim Astley, Service Advisor
Tim is the first person that you will meet as he is the person that will listen carefully to what you want and the issues that you may be having with your vehicle. Tim will inspect your vehicle with you before test driving it himself and putting it up on the hoist to have a more detailed inspection along with a Driven technician. Together they will isolate and diagnose the issue and needed repairs, if any. Tim will then call you and explain both the good news and bad news, if any, and what needs to be done immediately and what can wait. You can then decide what to do.
Tim joined Team Driven in 2019 and has over 42 years experience in the automotive industry. He worked as an automotive master technician, service manager and service advisor in the UK, Bermuda and Cayman, and has worked on all European, Asian and North American vehicles. Tim’s passion is working on luxury and sport vehicles. Tim is highly experienced and knowledgeable, and cares about his customers and their vehicle wanting to make sure they are looked after and happy.
Nelson Pinpin, Parts Specialist
Nelson is the second person that you will meet as he is the person responsible for sourcing parts that are specific for your vehicle. He will search for the best possible price both locally and overseas, depending on availability. Most times, he will give you an option and let you decide based on quality and price. Once the part is purchased, he will track delivery and contact you to let you know when the part is expected to arrive, and will contact you again when the part arrives at Driven. You can then book an appointment for your vehicle at your convenience.
Nelson joined Team Driven in 2019 and is an electrical engineering graduate. After spending his early years in the engineering field, he moved back over to the automotive industry where he spent his youth in pursuit of his passion, automobiles. Nelson spent the last 21 years in the automotive industry with 19 years in the Philippines and 2 years in Cayman specializing in automotive parts and customer service. Nelson takes pride in everything he does and cares about his customers.
Gerardo Tencio Coto, Senior Automotive Technician
Gerardo joined Team Driven in August 2021 and has over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. Gerardo is Land Rover, Jaguar and Mercedes certified trained and has experience in servicing high performance automobiles including Porsche, Ferrari and Maserati. Gerardo is our most qualified and experienced technician and loves identifying and solving problems. He cares about the customer and takes great pride in his work.
Marlowe Laurente, Automotive Technician
Marlowe joined Team Driven in 2019 and has over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, spending 23 years in the Philippines, 1 year in Bahrain and the last 6 years in Cayman. Marlowe has worked on all makes and models of Asian, North American and European motor, and electric vehicles. The automotive industry has been Marlowe’s life-long passion which has allowed him to put his three daughters through university.
Andre Simpson, Automotive Technician
Andre joined Team Driven in 2020 and has over 34 years of experience in the automotive industry, spending 28 years in Jamaica and the last 6 years in Cayman. Andre worked on all makes and models of Asian vehicles while in Jamaica, and most makes and models of European and North American motor vehicles, and electric vehicles in Cayman. Andre enjoys working on all different types of vehicles and loves a challenge.
O’Neil Eugene, Automotive Technician
O’Neil joined Team Driven in 2020, is a graduate of UCCI’s automotive program and has over 15 years of experience in the automotive industry in Cayman. O’Neil has worked on all makes and models of European, Asian and North American motor vehicles, and is passionate about making automobiles perform to their best and takes pride in doing so.
Darwin Culadilla, Automotive Detailer
Darwin is the person responsible for cleaning and detailing your vehicle so that it looks it’s best. Darwin joined Team Driven in 2021 and has over 26 years of experience in the automotive industry as an automotive technician, spending 21 years in the Philippines and 5 years in Saudi Arabia working on all makes and models of Asian and North American motor vehicles. Darwin takes pride in everything he does and treats your vehicle as if it is his own.
